Curing Xypex Admix-Dosed Concrete

Curing Xypex Admix C-Series – in accordance with the Xypex Specification General:

Concrete Containing Xypex Admix C-Series shall be moist cured in accordance with CIA Recommended Practice Note Z9 or ACI Reference C308, “Standard Practice for Curing Concrete”.

Curing Compound: Curing Compounds may be used in the event that project requirements or conditions prevent moist curing of the concrete. Curing Compounds shall comply with AS 3799 within Australia. In those jurisdictions not governed by Australian Standards, the minimum requirement shall be that called for in ASTM C-309.

Caution: The use of sodium silicate based products for the purpose of curing Xypex Admix dosed concrete is a non-conformance to the Xypex Specification. These types of products do not conform to Australian Standards or to ASTM C-309, and shall not be considered as appropriate for the purpose of curing fresh concrete containing Xypex Admix C-Series.
